Roger standing by to sign you in or renew your membership.
Ok so what did you two do?
More folks arrive as the sky clears.
Seems chanting "No More Rain" last night worked. So early Saturday we assembled the rest of the foray equipment.
Plenty of room for finds.
Of course Richard had made breakfast, blue berry pancakes.
Gil is sort of half way surrendering.
Gil's new toy, I mean mobility restricted transportation platform.
So what's in a name?
It's not like this can bush-hog a field, cut the grass or feed the turkeys.....
Intervention... Actually the last few photos are of Richard setting up where the forays would go today.
The first foray of the day we worked the woods at Gil's farm.
Lots of chanterelles were found, most of them a bit old.
Yep, all the orange-yellow dots, chanterelles.
Dave Fischer in the weeds.
Oh look at all the berries.
We also found Hedghogs (or sweet tooth). Unfortunately for us, fortunately for Gil, most were buttons. He revisited this batch in a day or two.
Dave discusses the fine points of gill development.
Nice sulphur shelf.
When the first foray returns the finds are left at the tables and....
refreshments are served.
The grill is fired and lunch is on the way.
Cheryl works on some dogs.
Discussing the fine points of Roger's wine.
